Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! If this is living, I don't want to be alive!

Falls kill you, no commando in this game!
With the release of big name titles like Mass Effect 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken, other games can get lost in the mix and become overlooked. If you have an Xbox 360 and don't have the sixty dollars to fork over, or just don't want to go to the store, than maybe a little downloadable title might just be for you!

What I'm referring to is I AM ALIVE, which is a post-apocalyptic Sim. It give off less of a Fallout feel and more concentrates on the Book of Eli or The Road. It's a dark, decollete, and dangerous world. You follow a regular mountain climber who is looking for his wife/girlfriend and daughter. One the trip, you encounter other people in need of goods and first-aid, but the tricky part is how rare those supplies come by. Sometimes you'll just have to walk away, feeling hopeless, which is rare to find in a game. Than again, those supplies might come in handy later on, when you run into raiders in the wasteland.

Confrontation is strategic, and one wrong move can mean your life.

In each of these moments it's gives a very hectic and frantic feeling and makes the tension run high. This also happens while climbing. Resources are thin, and from every bullet to every can of fruit,  it can make a difference. The game is challenging, but it's not really supposed to be a walk in the park. The worlds changed and it's up to you to lead the protagonist to safety and to find his family.

Not only do you have a health bar, but a stamina bar too!
So, Destructiod gives a good job of explaining more about I AM ALIVE, and shows not only all the great parts, but some of the few flaws too. Go check out their site here, it's a great review and also has many other recent and old reviews!
