"Capsized" has a beautiful art style that stays classic with the 2D design and is wonderfully drawn with a lot of inspiration from games like "Braid" and "Dustforce". It's all high resolution hand drawn environments and characters and shows the beauty of the game highly. It's a fast paced 2D platformer with intense action and exploration. It was also made by developers Alien Trap who are the group that worked on "Nexuiz"!
"Capsized" is a puzzle -solving action, platformer all rolled into one.
"Capsized" was review quite well from many sites but still being an indie game could only do so much as to show off it's great gameplay and artwork to the world. It's a fun and challenging game that can be enjoyed by platformer, action, or even puzzle fans alike. In Bytejacker's review reviewer Anthony Carboni talks about the uniqueness of "Capsized". He takes a full understanding of the game and points out how the game should be enjoyed and played. Even if it's just to try and see, because really the best way to see if you like a game, is to try it!
