Don't Take It Personally Babe, It Just Ain't Your Review

Don't Take It Personally Babe, It Just Ain't Your Story is a very emotional tale that once through will keep you going until you see the end. The interesting tale of main character John Rook, shows a man in a mid-life crisis, who decides to teach a high-school English class and deal with the personal problems with his divorce and the emotional drama of the kids in his class.

Rook eavesdropping on conversations.
Don't Take It Personally Babe, It Just Ain't Your Story is a Visual Novel, with the majority of the game being played out as a movie with key points when the player can make decisions for Rook.

The story takes place in 2027 in a prestigious private high-school, where Rook has the ability to look into the private conversations of the students who send each other messages throughout class and the rest of the day. The main focus of the story was to show what privacy, and teenage relationships are like in the near future.
The two students who are harassed for being gay.

The length of the game is short but this also adds to the idea and "message" it tries to send to it's players. The story doesn't need to be super long to show a good purpose, it just needs to be able to catch your attention and be easy to understand and relate to, which is exactly what this Visual Novel does right.

There are a lot of Visual Novels of famous Anime and Manga on the internet, but not to many that hit the drama and the emotion level that Don't Take It Personally Babe, It Just Ain't Your Story, does. Although the game doesn't take very long to beat, it's still a story you will probably find enjoyable, if not memorable. (Also, it's FREE, so what have you got to lose, click here to download it!)
