Hey guys, I got to say I'm a little surprised that I actually couldn't find a review on this band! However I couldn't let these guys just go by and I really wanted to make them the Hidden-Review today. So It's a musical day indeed, and Opus Orange is a great unique band to get you in that feel good mood!
Initially when I saw Opus Orange I was really shocked and when I showed my buddies they loved them! However I first asked if they hear of them and they all responded with, "Oh yea, that's that really good OJ right?". I couldn't help but want to smack them in the face, but after words they were the ones who felt bad for not even hearing about this band!
Opus Orange has a great breezy-pop feel that gives off a care-free vibe that's always fun to listen to. Everyone of their songs have got that good feeling attached to it. I dare you to not start tapping along to the beat because even your body will know, " Wow, this isn't Justin Bieber crap, alright!". It's something different and it's a shame to see a great band not be noticed.
So, I'll post a link to their songs on MySpace, I should have a video from YouTube to listen here on the blog, and if you like what your hearing then I would suggest you click on the iTunes link to all their songs and albums. Also, they're very cheap each song only .99 cents and there albums only 3-5 dollars.
Some girl gamers might already know of this game, however it's a pretty big deal for many reasons. It's actually quite rare to find any sort of visual novels on a platform other then the PC in English, but it's even harder to find an Otome game on any platform in English! It's a wonderful port and is subbed well to keep the story intake with it's Japanese counter-part.
Hello girls, do you love visual novels, but just can't seem to find anymore to play that are actually in English or Engrish(It's translated Japanese.)? Tired of playing the same girl trying to romance the same guys every time? Well guess what, just for you ladies, developer Aksys and publishers Sony have decided to take the plunge into the Otome genre with Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom.
As I've mentioned before it's pretty rare to find a game specifically geared towards women, especially an all romance game! Really, that's all Otome games consist of. Otome is an interactive story that you follow and can make major choices which can impact the characters you romance and the endings you have.
I'm also going to repeat this, it's really geared towards WOMEN. I'm not saying guys can't enjoy visual novels, or even Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom, I could be pushing it though. My point is, that visual novels are arare genre to see on consoles today.
It's a pretty new game, and the genre is more intrigued toward only girls but xRebirthofRosax on YouTube does a wonderful job of explaining the contents of the Limited Edition, which can be found here on Amazon and explains a little bit more about what the game is like!
Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom is a great start in the Otome genre for both girl gamers and hopefully guy gamers too! I'm sure if this sells as well as it looks like it might, then I'm sure companies other then Sony might even plunge into putting some money into more visual novel projects for larger systems and not just the Psp.
I'm sure this probably happens more then on the average occasion lol.
So, if your an avid visual novel reader and a girl gamer with a Psp in need of play, then Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom is exactly the type of game that should be supported and purchased. You'll not only feel good that you purchased it for yourself, but in order to support the release of future Otome games alike!

Satisfaction from killing enemies with time manipulation never gets old!
Hey what's up guys today's Hidden-Review is going to be a possibly one you might have looked over by accident. It's called Singularity. It's by Raven Software and is a sci-fi first-person shooter. A lot like Bioshock, even too much almost. However, Singularity still sets it's self apart just enough to make the trip worth your while. It has great gun-play and an interesting time travel concept both in the story and in gameplay!
Singularity has a wide variety of cool guns and different enemies to kill!
JosefV Stalin does a YouTube video review and does a good job explaining the game and showing off the game-play and story. It's very professional and he did a great job, so if you want a good opinion Josef is a great place to start!
Singularity was a summer hit that most just overlooked because of it's inability to shine past it's generic feel. If you can get past the initial start you might just find that Singularity has much more to offer then it first may seem. Also, if you'd like to see a walkthrough of Singularity, bearsfan180 has a finished one in HD on his YouTube channel.
Great overall acting makes this film so believable it's scary!
Movies that really bring a lot of tension don't come along often. It's either ruined with bad acting, or terrible pacing from the movie. "We Need to Talk About Kevin" though is a gripping, frustrating, and strong film that really puts you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next scene to show how nuts this family's problems really are.
"We Need to Talk About Kevin" is based on a book by Lionel Shriver, about a married couple, Eva and Franklin, who are deciding whether or not to have a baby. Time is short for them as they are pushing their forties, and Eva decides to have the baby, really for the wrong reasons though. As Eva holds Kevin for the first time, she can sense a cold and distant vibe from him and as he grows up he becomes very hostile of her.
The movie does a great job with relating to the book.
As he grows older he's thrown in jail for his crazy actions and throughout the film you get to watch Tilda Swinton's Character, Eva go into a spiral breakdown of the terrible things that her son is doing. All the while, Franklin, played by John C. Reilly, is completely oblivious to this and ignores her cries as their marriage begins to break.
Today's Hidden-Review consists of two different reviews actually. One on Slate, written by Dana Stevens (here) which explains the movie and the tension that lies between Kevin and his mother. While the other, is of the original book by kaseryxrd on YouTube.
It's a gripping film that I'm sure will be enjoyed and remembered for a long time. If this sounds like your type of film then this is a must see, if none of this peaks your interest, it not a must see so don't feel too bad for missing this one. The book is also good so if your a read then watch type of person, then go check out "We Need to Talk About Kevin"!
Time for a very unknown band! Today's Hidden-Review is definitely something you'll be glad you found as much as I was once I fell upon these guys!

Skytone are a couple of guys who have a good mix of soul and 70's feel too them, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's nothing but hippie peace music. It's got a groovy melody and can really get you pretty pumped!
In their album "Shining Over You" they're all their creations and a great set of songs that can be enjoyed from start to finish. The second you hear their music you'll be asking your self if where the heck these guys been! At least that's what I was asking myself!
So, seeing as how hard it was to find Skytone was, finding a good review on it was twice as hard as well! But, I did find an individual (Gray Owl Point) that did a good run down on a few of their songs and explains the sound they represent in their music too. It's a good review and gives you a little bit of what kind of music they bring to the table. Of course though the best way to see if you like it is to hear it!

Raging Ruff Reviews here, with an update on what's been up and what I plan to have up next. So, I've been trying to write some stuff lately, but I haven't been to inspired as of late.
Well, hopefully that should change in a bit because we plan on receiving a PS Vita soon! I also purchased Uncharted:Golden Abyss which I'd love to do a review of! It also came with MLB 12 The Show on the system and a free downloadable game!

Now your also probably wondering which type I bought. After a long time searching up data and learning about all three of the types I could purchase I settled on the 300 dollar one. However I also bought it use, so I got it for only 230 dollars! I picked this on because it came with the 8gb stick while the 350 comes with a 4gb and the 250 with nothing. I also received MLB 12 The Show for free and with Uncharted only totaled 270 dollars.
I also sold my iPhone 4, now yes, I did say I was going to fix it up, but I'm lazy, and I sold it for about 220 dollars. Which it's so low because I know it'll cost like 70 dollars to fix. Also, I wanted it sold quickly lol.

So, that's the big news that I've been using my time with so much, and I really can't wait to show off some of the great stuff the Vita has and really can't wait to see the games that are planing to come to the system.
