Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Big Fish, Hook, Line, and Sinker!

I'm sure many of you think Big Fish sounds like your "going to need a bigger boat". When actually, even with "Big Fish" as the films name, it's actually quite deceiving. The film is a very charming piece of work directed by Tim Burton and with a famous leading cast of Ewan McGegor and Helena Bonham Carter. "Big Fish shows a lot of heart and deserves to been seen to believe this wonderful fairy tail.

The cinematography plays a big role in the story just as much as the story itself.
The story revolves around a dying father who never had the best relationship with his son and is finally piecing together the stories his father had told him while he was younger. As the son re-creates the father's life he begins to realize the father's great adventures he's been on and the troubles he's had to face. It's a fun story and one that never has a dull moment!

On Reel Film Reviews, David Nusair writes how well the movie is paced and done by Tim Burton after his work on the new "Planet of the Apes" and his work in "Pee-Wee's Playhouse". "Big Fish" was made in 2003 and is almost pushing a decade since it's release. If you haven't taken the time to check it out or have never heard of it before it's definitely something new and has a lot of what Tim Burton is known for in his films.

Ewan McGregor stands in a field of flowers to impress the "love of his life".
I watched this film a long time ago when I was younger and was taken a back by it because of it's difference. I'm sure if I watched it now I'd have a different look on it, but even when I was younger I still found it very pleasing to watch. It's a great film for anyone of any age and is perfect for those Saturdays with the family!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Mad World, It Sure Is a Mad World!

This isn't "Wii Sports", this is "Mad World"!
You guys ever get the feeling that you just wanted to put your fist through someones face? Got so fed up with life that you wanted to tell life to f#$k off and suck it? Well then you might need to go to a couple anger management classes. But, for anyone who wants to have fun trying to find the goriest ways to kill people, then "Mad World" is the perfect game for you.

In "Mad World" you follow a bad ass guy named Jack, who is offered to go on a T.V show called Death Watch where you get companies to sponsor you to kill others in the most messed up ways and end up number one on the rankings. It's a lot like the recent film "The Hunger Games", except less girlishness and more roid rage! Oh also, did I mention he also has a chainsaw for an arm! Yea, Jacks that cool.

If they put Jack in "The Hunger Games", they wouldn't even have a chance!
The art style is interesting, a lot like a comic book with only black, white, and red as the palette that fills the screen. The voice acting is hilarious and well done, you can never get enough of John DiMaggio (Bender, Futurama and Marcus, Gears of War.) as the commentators for the show. The gameplay is varied and has a good pacing to it rounding out at about 6-7 hours of gameplay.

Patrick on wiinewsnreviews does a review on his YouTube channel of "Mad World". He gets much more in depth of the concepts of the game like the controls, gameplay, and all other stuff. So check out his quick review and if you like him and "Mad World", go check them out here!

"Mad World" is a gory game and not for the faint of heart, but if you are a hardcore gamer and have a Wii in need of playing, then "Mad World" is just the medicine for your Wii!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Toward the Terra, So the Only Way to Save Humanity Is to Give All Powers to Computers?

"Toward the Terra" is a far future idea of humanity where we have already destroyed ourselves once and in order to stop it from happening again humanity has given all power to a super computer that controls all birth and life in the world. However a threat to the system emerges from the ashes known as "Mu" which are humans born with psychic powers that can resist the powers of the system.

"Toward the Terra" film poster.
The anime was created in 2007 by Keiko Takemiya and was released only as a manga from 1977-1980 and was released as a movie in 1980 as well. It was hard to tell if the anime was going to be a anything worth seeing, as the manga wasn't very popular, but based on the manga "Toward the Terra" the anime shouldn't be overlooked this time as it's nothing but a joy to watch!

Shadowmage on "The Nihon Review" explains the great parts of this anime and how it really is a shame as to how unknown "Toward the Terra" really is. It has everything you'd want from a post-apocalyptic sci-fi anime. It has compelling characters and does a good job pacing between the storyline of the main conflict in the world they live in, and the characters themselves. You can check out his review at the link above.

Characters from the 2007 anime.
Overall, "Toward the Terra" is an absolute joy to watch and after watching a few episodes I'm really surprised to not have noticed this anime sooner. I'm also surprised as to how the manga wasn't very popular either, it's a very different and compelling tale that shouldn't be overlooked. Any of you Battlestar Galactica fans out there who watch anime will love this show too!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! The Post-Birthday World, I Hope it's Not Kevin's Birthday!

Raging Ruff Reviews here to day to bring all you readers out there who have finished the Hunger games and want to find something else to read since the sequel films won't be out for awhile!

"The Post-Birthday World", was written by Lionel Shriver who was also the author of famous books "Double Fault" and "We Need to Talk About Kevin". Which for all you following saw one of Raging Ruff Reviews' Hidden Reviews was on the film adaptation of her book!

The book in a nut shell follows a women who is faced with a life changing decision and in the book shows what would happen in her life if she were to have chosen one way or the other. The decisions she makes is alternated between chapters. So, your able to see how both decisions end which most of us when we make a decision in life are left to wonder what might have been.

It's a good concept to set it up, but what really is cool is how Shriver explains both stories. She doesn't just make one choice bad and one end up good. There's no one cut right or wrong choice, both paths the main character takes shows her ups and downs. Sometimes even in both situations she ends up with the same type of solution, it was just all about her own personality!

Lionel Shriver, author of "The Post-Birthday World" and "We Need to Talk About Kevin".
This way of storytelling makes it seem really and more likeable of a read! Zeavo2 makes a great review on the book getting in more detail then myself so give his review a look see and his channel!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Voxhaul Broadcast, turn it up!

Album cover for "Timing is Everything".
It's hidden-review time folks and today I got a wonderful group that will make your ears sleep in peace knowing they've now heard this band, Voxhaul Broadcast.

They were considered "L.A's best kept secret" for years but they finally came out with their debut album after two EP's before, "Rotten Apples", and "Fact Fiction Turquoise". with the release of "Timing is Everything" in March of 2011, it was given good reviews but not seen far thought the country and eventually was only noticed by the hardcore.

Jackie Lam on Radio Free Silver Lake's website posted a quick rundown of the music style Voxhaul plays. I don't know exactly how to explain it, but for me it sounded a lot like U2 or Foo Fighters. I like the Foo Fighters a lot and that's why I really enjoyed Voxhaul.

Overall, I think if you haven't heard of the band give them a listen, you might find something you enjoy! Also, even if you don't like the band too much Lam's review might give you a better way to look at it! You can check out Voxhaul Broadcast's debut album on iTunes here, and Jackie's review here!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Dark Sector, where did you visit?

Hi folks following Raging Ruff Reviews' Hidden Review, sorry I've been posting my Reviews so late. I seem to just review whenever I have the time, but at least I can always guarantee a post everyday! So, today I'd like to post a great Xbox 360 and PS3 game that you can find a any Gamestop and not spend a dime over five dollars! Hidden below that old edition of Madden hides a wonderful third person shooter Dark Sector.

Dark Sector is a third-person shooter with a little twist.
In Dark Sector you follow Hayden Tenno, an undercover assassin, who is sent out to track down and stop a rouge CIA operative named Robert Mezner from selling bio tech on the black market and turning humanity into steel armored freaks. It's an interesting tale however it misses the mark in some place and gets lost throughout all the intense action Dark Sector is all about.

What really makes Dark Sector worth a purchase is it's sure fun rating. Dark Sector resembles gameplay from Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War. However what sets it apart is the introduction of the glaive. It's a nifty little tool that looks like it could be a huge ninja star. As you progress you gain new upgrades and become more powerful. The game also has an array of guns you can purchase from the black market as you progress through the story.

The glaive has a charge ability that can create cool ways to solve puzzles and kill enemies.
I'm not hear to explain the whole game to you hear. What I'm hear to do is introduce you to a wonderful review done by Turd Rocket Reviews. Yes, I know the name seem a little silly, but trust me, if you listen to this man talk he does an absolutely wonderful job. You'll be asking yourself two things after. Why isn't this man getting paid and why did I ever think people at IGN were "professional" reviewers! It's that good, so check out his channel and other reviews as well right here!

The best part about Dark Sector is that you can find it almost anywhere for around five bucks! No joke! So if Dark Sector sounds like your type of game, you'd be a fool to not a lest give it a shot! I'll even place a link to Amazon right here.

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Watchmen, Protecting You From Yourself.

Watchmen was originally a comic book written by Alan Moore and art done by Dave Gibbons. It was a very popular comic book that was based on the 1980's of America in an alternate reality that drastically was changed around the 30's by a group of people in costumes known as The Watchmen. Then the succeeding team of watchmen decide to carry the name and are known as super heroes throughout the city.  However around 1977 the Hero trend started to become unpopular which rose the idea of outlawing superheroes.

Which brings us to the story of Watchmen, directed by Zach Snyder who is know for his work on the film 300. The film was well taken by some critics, but also taken aback by it's "R" rating, long run time, and it's different ending from the comic. However the film reviews were mostly positive and well taken.

So, you might ask why is it today's Hidden-Review? Well, for me I found this film to be a joy among comic book films and superhero films alike. I feel it was skipped by most people who weren't fans of the comic and it's a bit of a shame really. I do believe reading the comic does give a different point of view to look at, but even if you didn't read it, that shouldn't at all hold you back from watching Watchmen.

Bluntly is one of the more popular reviewer's on YouTube and does an awesome job of explaining Watchmen through the eyes of a fan that can emphasize with both hardcore fans and to new people who are interested in wanting to watch this great film. The sound from his review makes you just want to take the time from your day to check out this film whenever you can! You can also check out his channel here.

With that, Watchmen has lots of action, production value, good acting, directing, and the whole nine-yards! So I think it deserves everyone's attention and not just comic fans, and that's why it's today's Hidden-Review-of-the-Day!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Opus Orange, yea that's a type of juice right?

Hey guys, I got to say I'm a little surprised that I actually couldn't find a review on this band! However I couldn't let these guys just go by and I really wanted to make them the Hidden-Review today. So It's a musical day indeed, and Opus Orange is a great unique band to get you in that feel good mood!

Initially when I saw Opus Orange I was really shocked and when I showed my buddies they loved them! However I first asked if they hear of them and they all responded with, "Oh yea, that's that really good OJ right?". I couldn't help but want to smack them in the face, but after words they were the ones who felt bad for not even hearing about this band!

Opus Orange has a great breezy-pop feel that gives off a care-free vibe that's always fun to listen to. Everyone of their songs have got that good feeling attached to it. I dare you to not start tapping along to the beat because even your body will know, " Wow, this isn't Justin Bieber crap, alright!". It's something different and it's a shame to see a great band not be noticed.

So, I'll post a link to their songs on MySpace, I should have a video from YouTube to listen here on the blog, and if you like what your hearing then I would suggest you click on the iTunes link to all their songs and albums. Also, they're very cheap each song only .99 cents and there albums only 3-5 dollars.

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Hello Ladies! Welcome to Hakuoki!

Some girl gamers might already know of this game, however it's a pretty big deal for many reasons. It's actually quite rare to find any sort of visual novels on a platform other then the PC in English, but it's even harder to find an Otome game on any platform in English! It's a wonderful port and is subbed well to keep the story intake with it's Japanese counter-part.

Hello girls, do you love visual novels, but just can't seem to find anymore to play that are actually in English or Engrish(It's translated Japanese.)? Tired of playing the same girl trying to romance the same guys every time? Well guess what, just for you ladies, developer Aksys and publishers Sony have decided to take the plunge into the Otome genre with Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom.

As I've mentioned before it's pretty rare to find a game specifically geared towards women, especially an all romance game! Really, that's all Otome games consist of. Otome is an interactive story that you follow and can make major choices which can impact the characters you romance and the endings you have.

I'm also going to repeat this, it's really geared towards WOMEN. I'm not saying guys can't enjoy visual novels, or even Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom, I could be pushing it though. My point is, that visual novels are a rare genre to see on consoles today.

It's a pretty new game, and the genre is more intrigued toward only girls but xRebirthofRosax on YouTube does a wonderful job of explaining the contents of the Limited Edition, which can be found here on Amazon and explains a little bit more about what the game is like!

Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom is a great start in the Otome genre for both girl gamers and hopefully guy gamers too! I'm sure if this sells as well as it looks like it might, then I'm sure companies other then Sony might even plunge into putting some money into more visual novel projects for larger systems and not just the Psp.

I'm sure this probably happens more then on the average occasion lol.
So, if your an avid visual novel reader and a girl gamer with a Psp in need of play, then Hakuoki: Demon Fleeting of the Blossom is exactly the type of game that should be supported and purchased. You'll not only feel good that you purchased it for yourself, but in order to support the release of future Otome games alike!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! In Soviet Russia the Game Plays You!

Satisfaction from killing enemies with time manipulation never gets old!
Hey what's up guys today's Hidden-Review is going to be a possibly one you might have looked over by accident. It's called Singularity.  It's by Raven Software and is a sci-fi first-person shooter. A lot like Bioshock, even too much almost. However, Singularity still sets it's self apart just enough to make the trip worth your while. It has great gun-play and an interesting time travel concept both in the story and in gameplay!

Singularity has a wide variety of cool guns and different enemies to kill!
JosefV Stalin does a YouTube video review and does a good job explaining the game and showing off the game-play and story. It's very professional and he did a great job, so if you want a good opinion Josef is a great place to start!

Singularity was a summer hit that most just overlooked because of it's inability to shine past it's generic feel. If you can get past the initial start you might just find that Singularity has much more to offer then it first may seem. Also, if you'd like to see a walkthrough of Singularity, bearsfan180 has a finished one in HD on his YouTube channel.

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Honey Kevin's crazy, no he's fine, your crazy!

Great overall acting makes this film so believable it's scary!
Movies that really bring a lot of tension don't come along often. It's either ruined with bad acting, or terrible pacing from the movie. "We Need to Talk About Kevin" though is a gripping, frustrating, and strong film that really puts you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next scene to show how nuts this family's problems really are.

"We Need to Talk About Kevin" is based on a book by Lionel Shriver, about a married couple, Eva and Franklin, who are deciding whether or not to have a baby. Time is short for them as they are pushing their forties, and Eva decides to have the baby, really for the wrong reasons though. As Eva holds Kevin for the first time, she can sense a cold and distant vibe from him and as he grows up he becomes very hostile of her.

The movie does a great job with relating to the book.
As he grows older he's thrown in jail for his crazy actions and throughout the film you get to watch Tilda Swinton's Character, Eva go into a spiral breakdown of the terrible things that her son is doing. All the while, Franklin, played by John C. Reilly, is completely oblivious to this and ignores her cries as their marriage begins to break.

Today's Hidden-Review consists of two different reviews actually. One on Slate, written by Dana Stevens (here) which explains the movie and the tension that lies between Kevin and his mother. While the other, is of the original book by kaseryxrd on YouTube.

It's a gripping film that I'm sure will be enjoyed and remembered for a long time. If this sounds like your type of film then this is a must see, if none of this peaks your interest, it not a must see so don't feel too bad for missing this one. The book is also good so if your a read then watch type of person, then go check out "We Need to Talk About Kevin"!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Is Skytone "Shining Over You"?

Time for a very unknown band! Today's Hidden-Review is definitely something you'll be glad you found as much as I was once I fell upon these guys!

Skytone's album cover for "Shining Over You".
Skytone are a couple of guys who have a good mix of soul and 70's feel too them, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's nothing but hippie peace music. It's got a groovy melody and can really get you pretty pumped!

In their album "Shining Over You" they're all their creations and a great set of songs that can be enjoyed from start to finish. The second you hear their music you'll be asking your self if where the heck these guys been! At least that's what I was asking myself!

So, seeing as how hard it was to find Skytone was, finding a good review on it was twice as hard as well! But, I did find an individual (Gray Owl Point) that did a good run down on a few of their songs and explains the sound they represent in their music too. It's a good review and gives you a little bit of what kind of music they bring to the table. Of course though the best way to see if you like it is to hear it!

This is their cover of Coldplay's, "Don't Panic", watch and be amazed!

With that, the link to Gray Owl Point's review is here and a link to Skytone's Album on iTunes can be reached here.

Ruff Update #7, Hopping on the PSVita train ride!

PS Vita doesn't use the XrossMediaBar interface, instead it uses LiveArea.
Raging Ruff Reviews here, with an update on what's been up and what I plan to have up next. So, I've been trying to write some stuff lately, but I haven't been to inspired as of late.

Well, hopefully that should change in a bit because we plan on receiving a PS Vita soon! I also purchased Uncharted:Golden Abyss which I'd love to do a review of! It also came with MLB 12 The Show on the system and a free downloadable game!

MLB 12 The Show for PS Vita.
Now your also probably wondering which type I bought. After a long time searching up data and learning about all three of the types I could purchase I settled on the 300 dollar one. However I also bought it use, so I got it for only 230 dollars! I picked this on because it came with the 8gb stick while the 350 comes with a 4gb and the 250 with nothing. I also received MLB 12 The Show for free and with Uncharted only totaled 270 dollars.

I also sold my iPhone 4, now yes, I did say I was going to fix it up, but I'm lazy, and I sold it for about 220 dollars. Which it's so low because I know it'll cost like 70 dollars to fix. Also, I wanted it sold quickly lol.

Actual gameplay from Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
So, that's the big news that I've been using my time with so much, and I really can't wait to show off some of the great stuff the Vita has and really can't wait to see the games that are planing to come to the system. If you want to see more games that are out or coming out to the vita I'll put the video below showcasing a good lineup to come, enjoy!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Power-slide Kills FTW!

Games with a lot of style and hardcore action don't come by a lot and when they get shoved under the table for bigger titles it can be understood. It's been awhile though and those games have shifted near the bargain bin! So, now is a great time to check out games that you overlooked at the time like today's Hidden-Review, Vanquish.

Non-stop action will keep you coming back!
In Vanquish you follow solider hero Sam Gideon who blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. To tell you the truth the story is pretty weak, so if your looking for the next Bioshock still, keep your reins held steady because this is not the game to jump on. However, if your looking for a game filled with non-stop adrenaline action at a fraction of the price of other games then Vanquish will be right up your alley!

Sam is also gifted with his "ARS", which is his Augmented Reaction Suit. It's what allows him to slow down time and do crazy power-slides across the map. The suit also allows guns to be scanned and replicated to your own use from the field. The "BLADE" is what scans and is allowed to have up to three different types of guns at once.

Crazy power-slides are what make Vanquish set it apart from other third-person shooters.
Steve Boxer has a wonderful review of Vanquish (here) and tells exactly what needs to be said about Vanquish. It's fast, it's fun, and Vanquish is a great buy at this point and time, last I saw it was only 15 dollars used. So, for that price Vanquish might be that break you've been looking for Call of Duty or Gears of War!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Can you Drive?

Drive stars other actors such as Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman.
Raging Ruff Review's takes a look at a film that was overlooked by viewers but highly praised by critics. Is Drive worth taking the trip, or was it just another car ready to hit the junkyard?

Driver's relationship with his neighbor becomes complicated, fast.
In Drive you follow a stunt-man in Los Angeles who is attracted to his neighbor, Irene, who is a vulnerable single mother. What Driver doesn't know is all the trouble she's been in with her ex-husband, who is actually a convict.  On the run from them it's up to Driver to protect them and eventually go on the other side of the approach.

The review that's done by Screen Crave does a great job explaining the film and showing what this great film has to offer to viewers. She' talks about the feelings, the action, and the acting of Drive and it really makes you want to go out and punch yourself in the face for not hearing about this film!

So, once again folks, this is Raging Ruff Reviews' Hidden-Review-of-the-Day, and I hope after seeing Screen Crave's review, you''l do yourself a favor and DRIVE!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! So you're a security guard?

Hey guys, been doing a lot of research the past few days. It's been a little tough for me to make other reviews but I do try to make daily uploads for the Hidden-Reviews!

Album Cover Art.
So, today I found a really cool unknown band who you've probably heard their songs, yet really never found the time or simply forgot to go look them up.

The Non-Commissioned Officers, also known as the Non-Comms, have created a dream-rock vibe that really can become pretty addicting to listen to. Their debut album, Money Looking for Thieves, has a great beauty mood to it and can also bring a strong pop-rock too.

Cap Blackard does a review or quick once over on a few songs of the album and explains a few of the cool meanings of how he felt and how to explain the feelings shown in the music. It's fun and creative. You won't find a lot of music like Non-Comms, and Blackard explains a great review of what to expect.

You can see Blackard's review here, and purchase Non-Comms debut album here. Also the Non-Comms have many famous singles like, Evolve and Ahead of the Wave!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! This isn't your Pirates of the Caribbean.

Have you ever wondered what living in Alaska would feel like? Did you ever think about what you might do if stuck in a freezing cold climate on a boat devoid of life? Yea, I'd want to kill myself too; it's here where games like Cryostasis can let you experience that without putting yourself in danger!

Crazy people you encounter on the ship.
Well, in Cryostasis you follow meteorologist Alex Nesterov who is investing an old crew who was called the North Wind. As Alex moves from corridor to corridor, you must lead him through the ship to find out what exactly happened to the old crew, and what might exactly happen to him.

It's a first-person survival-horror game mixed with action-adventure elements. The combat can seem frustrating and stagnant at times, but that's only because Alex isn't a trained fighter. The story and atmosphere is where this game's beauty shines. It's an interesting way to tell a tale. As you move through the ship you find old crew member's who you get to relive their lives through memories and help them survive, to then help you survive.

Cole Smith does a great review on Cheat Code Central. It's very well explained and shows the pros and cons. He also states that, "It possesses some uniqueness, but it's not perfect and it's not for everyone." (Smith, 1) Which is true, the gameplay is a bit wonky but if your the type of person who loves a good story then you might see the greatness that Cryostasis has to offer!

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! So that's where all my sugar goes!

The Japanese Poster Art.
Hidden-Review of the day guys, and I got another treat for all you family oriented and anime fans out there! It's The Secret World of Arrietty, it's a classic anime-drawn style movie by Studio Ghibli. Other films done by their studio include famous works like Ponyo and Spirited Away. It's English adaptation is involved with Disney films and is nothing less then what's to be expected from Disney and Studio Ghibli.

Shawn speaking with Arrietty in the meadow.
The story follows a boy who ends up finding a little group of people known as "The Borrowers". They are the culprits for the missing napkins and that lighter you keep losing and having to buy another. They are never to be seen by humans, for fear of being killed. It's an interesting concept and shows a lot of spirit and you begin to really care for the "borrowers" and the lifestyle they live. They become real and that's what draws you in.

The review by Chris Stuckmann is very well done. He does a good job informing about the film without spoiling anything and shows his own style of his thoughts on how it was a great film for everyone!

I really got a good feeling that the film was great and it's too bad that not to many people know about it. So, if you like films like the ones I mentioned, or the ones Stuckmann mentions in his review, then go see it! It's definitely worth you, your friends, and families time.

Limitless Movie Review, so in the end, it's ok to do drugs?

Movie poster art for Limitless.
Life is hard, and sometimes people just don't have things going their way. They can't seem to stay focused and always end up screwing their lives over, and don't understand why. In Limitless you follow Eddie Morra, a rundown, useless writer trying to get a break, but just can't get anything to go his way. While walking through the streets of New York he runs into his ex brother-in-law, Vernon. He gives him a pill known as "NZT". It's supposed to stimulate the brain causing it to use not just 20%, (which is not true but in the movie that's what they say) but all of it, to use the receptors in the brain that activate specific circuits and make you function like a genius. While on this drug Eddie finds how amazing it is but also, on the way realizes all the trouble he's gotten into and has to find ways out to survive.

Eddie is your everyday guy you root for who, at times is faced with decisions of taking pills or going on with life without the crutch. Some might argue that it's not anything bad, but an increasing of your own abilities. It's all you, NZT just adds the extra punch to get you moving. A good example would be caffeine, it's a very light idea of what NZT is but, it enhances your abilities. In the movie Eddie also describes the feeling as, "It's not like I'm high, or drunk, or wired, but clear!".

Funny NZT promo ad for Limitless.
While Eddie is climbing the ladders of society, he finishes his book, he travels, learns the piano, and speaks more languages than a dictionary, even fluently, all in about four days. He starts to thrive for the challenge, it's not enough anymore and he decides to try the stock market. It's hear, that Eddie makes a lot of moves that put him in with bad people, and a lot of the problems that he pushes to the side begin to surface once again.

It becomes an addiction, NZT begins to ruin Eddie's life and the people he loves around him. His only salvation is death, or so he thinks. After the dust settles and Eddie get's back on track, in a round about way, he continues what he does best and ends up with a salvation of his own on the other end of the tunnel.

Eddie and his girlfriend Lindy (Abbie Cornish).
So, really it was an entertaining film that circled around Bradley Cooper's character. It's a fun, interesting tale that shows the possibilities of a man that has the ability to function without sleep. The tension is brought with all the decisions Eddie makes, and Cooper does a great job acting through all the problems Eddie faces. Overall, the cast did a great job and the idea of the story was well done and easy to follow.

Hidden-Review-of-the-Day! Shadows of the Damned, Are You Unhappy With Your Johnson?

Hey guys! Did you love Resident Evil 5? Did you get a kick out of the violence in Gears of War? Then the Hidden-Review-of-the-Day, Shadows of the Damned might just be the sleeper you've been looking for! It was a game both popular with critics and gamers alike, sadly though it did not have commercial success. So, unlike Call of Duty or Halo, the talents and effort put into this great game have been forgotten!

To get an idea of what Shadows of the Damned is all about, it's a third-person shooter with a "punk rock" and "psychological-thriller", theme mixed in between. The story is different and the art style and gameplay will keep you wanting more!

The review from Coin-Op TV gives a gamers points of view of the ups and downs of the game. Also, The trailer shows a bit of the funny side to the Shadows of the Damned that will keep you laughing your ass off till the end! This game brings something to games not seen often these days so I'd check it out and give it a rent, or if you wait a little longer you might even be able to get this for a steal!
